Hot Pepper Pomegranate Guacamole Burgers

Ingredients

  • 1 bag (16.2 oz.) Ball Park Frozen Beef Patties
  • 1/2-1 tsp. hot pepper sauce
  • 3 ripe medium avocados, halved, pitted and scooped
  • 1 small yellow onion, finely diced
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate arils
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, coarsely chopped, lightly toasted
  • 6 whole-grain hamburger buns

Directions

  1. In a large skillet, cook patties 8-10 minutes or until hot, turning occasionally. (Alternately, patties can be baked in a 375°F oven for 12-15 minutes, or until hot.)

  2. While patties are cooking, in a serving bowl use a fork or potato masher to combine hot pepper sauce, avocados, onion, parsley and lime juice.

  3. Stir in the pomegranate arils and walnuts; set aside.

  4. Serve each hot patty on a bun topped with a generous scoop of the guac. Refrigerate leftovers.
