Bacon and Caramelized-Onion Asparagus

Ingredients

  • 3 slices Oscar Meyer Center Cut Bacon
  • 1 1/2 lb. fresh asparagus spears, trimmed
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1/2 cup light ranch dressing

Directions

  1. Cook bacon in nonstick skillet 3 to 5 minutes or until crisp, turning frequently. Drain bacon on paper towels. Discard drippings from skillet. (Do not wash skillet.)

  2. Place asparagus in microwaveable casserole or 10 × 4-inch dish. Add water. Microwave on high 4 to 5 minutes or until asparagus is crisp-tender.

  3. Meanwhile, add onions, cook and stir 5 minutes or until crisp-tender. Stir in dressing. Drain asparagus; top with sauce and crumbles bacon.
