Ingredients
- 1 lb. medium tomatillos, husked and rinsed
- 1 whole jalapeno
- 1 small white onion, chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, unpeeled
- 1 cup packed fresh cilantro
- Salt
- Cucumber slices, for serving
Directions

Cook tomatillos, jalapeno, onion and garlic in a large dry skillet until charred in spots, 8-10 minutes. Peel the garlic. Transfer the vegetables to a food processor and add cilantro; season with salt. Pulse until almost smooth. Serve with cucumber slices.
