Bacon-Tomato-Spaghetti Bake

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. dry spaghetti
  • 1/2 lb. bacon, diced
  • 1 medium onion, peeled, diced
  • 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up, with liquid
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce

Directions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package directions; drain. Arrange in bottom of a greased, rectangular baking dish (7 x11 or 9 x13 inches).

  2. In a skillet, cook bacon until crisp, drain on paper towels. Save about 2 Tbsp. bacon drippings, add onion and cook until soft.

  3. Return drained bacon to skillet, add tomatoes and tomato sauce and bring to a boil.

  4. Pour mixture evenly over spaghetti in baking dish. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 45 mionutes.
