Ingredients
- 3 chicken breasts
- 1 lb. smoked sausage
- 1/4 tsp. minced garlic
- 1/4 onion, diced
- 3 cans chicken broth
- 6 cans water
- 2 cups uncooked rice
- 1 can red beans
- 1 family-sized box Zatarains Red Beans and Rice
- 1 Tbsp. seasoned salt
- 1 Tbsp. cumin
Directions

Cut the chicken and sausage into small pieces.

Cook together with garlic and onion. Add the chicken broth, water, rice, beans, Zatarains Red Beans and Rice, seasoned salt and cumin. Bring to a boil. Simmer for an hour, stirring occasionally.

Add spices to taste.

For a healthier version, use turkey sausage.
