Carrot Crunch

A family favorite side dish. Cools off very quickly, so make just before eating.

Ingredients
- 6-8 Carrots
- 1 1/2 T. Brown Sugar
- 1 1/2 T. Butter/Margarine (leave out for healthier option)
- 1 1/2 tsp. orange rind
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. sliced almonds
Directions

Peel and slice carrots (diagonally for fun)

Put carrots, brown sugar, butter (optional), salt and orange rind in sauce pan.

Cook until carrots are still a bit crunchy as they will continue to cook afterwards.

Add almonds just before taking off burner.
