Ingredients
- 4 cups shredded raw carrots
- 1/2 cup sauterne or other white table wine
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- Dash of pepper
- 1 twp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine'
Directions

Place carrots in a greased casserole. Add wine, salt, pepper and sugar; stir so that seasonings are evenly distribute. Dot with butter.

Cover and bake in a moderate oven (350 degrees) for 30 minutes. Serve at once from the casserole.
