Baked Chicken in Wine

Ingredients
- 4 lb. chicken legs and thighs, skinned
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 to 1 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- Vegetable oil
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 2 medium green peppers, chopped
- 1/2 cup slice fresh mushrooms
- 2 (16 oz.) cans tomatoes, undrained and coarsely chopped
- 1 tsp. ground thyme
- 2 tsp. curry powder
- 1/2 cup Chablis or other dry white wine
- Hot cooked rice or noodles
Directions

Sprinkle chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika; dredge in flour, and brown on all sides in hot oil. Drain chicken, and place in a 13 × 9 × 2-inch baking dish; reserve pan drippings.

Add onion, green pepper, and mushrooms to pan drippings; saute until tender. Stir in tomatoes, thyme and curry powder; pour over chicken. Cover and bake at 35 0 degrees for 30 minutes. Add wine, and bake an additional 20m minutes. Serve over rice or noodles.
