Ingredients
- 1 cup finely chopped fresh mushrooms
- 3 tbsp. soft bread crumbs
- 3 tbsp. barbecue sauce
- 3/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 4 bacon strips, halved
- 4 thin slices cheddar
- 4 hamburger buns, split
- Additional barbecue sauce
- Dill pickle slices
Directions

Combine first 6 ingredients. Add beef; mix lightly but well. Shape into four patties.

Place on an oiled grill rack over medium heat; grill, covered, until done, 4-5 minutes per side. Grill bacon, covered, until crisp, 2-3 minutes per side. Top burgers with cheese and bacon; grill, covered, until cheese is melted, 30 seconds. Serve on buns with barbecue sauce and pickles.
