Baked Fillets

Serves 4 people

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Haddock fillets
  • Salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 can (10 1/2 oz.) cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup grated American cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Sprinkle fish with salt and pepper. Place on a lightly greased shallow baking dish.

  3. Combine soup, milk and cheese in top part of a double boiler. Cook over hot, not boiling water, until cheese melts. Spoon over fish. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until done.
