Snickerdoodles

Serves 9 people
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cream of tartar
- 1 1/4 cup plus 2 tbsp - all purpose flour
- (cookie topper)
- 1 tbsp white sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Cream the butter and 3/4 cup sugar together until fluffy

Add egg into creamed mixture, beat until mixed well

Add baking soda, salt, cream of tartar, mix until smooth.

Mix in 1 tbsp sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon in separate bowl – set aside

Form cookie dough into 1" BALLS and roll in sugar/cinnamon mixture

Place on uncoated cookie sheet

Bake @ 350 degrees for 8 min

Makes about 18 cookies
