Ingredients
- 1 lb. haddock fillets
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. paprika
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. black pepper
- 1 3 oz. can chopped mushrooms
- milk
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
Directions

Place fish in greased dish; sprinkle with lemon juice. Melt butter in saucepan. Stir in flour, nutmeg, paprika, salt and pepper. Drain mushroom juice into a cup; add enough milk to measure 1/2 cup. Add to flour mixture. Cook over slow fire until thick. Pour over fish. Sprinkle with mushrooms and cheese. Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
