Ingredients
- 1 tbsp. canola oil
- 2 medium Vidalia onions, grated
- 2 1/2 cups ketchup
- 1/2 cup cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 tbsp. Worcestershire
- 2 tbsp. Dijon
- 1/2 tsp ground pepper
- Pinch of cayenne pepper
Directions

Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add onions and cook, stirring often, until translucent, 3-5 minutes. Add ketchup, vinegar, honey, lemon juice, Worcestershire, mustard, pepper and cayenne. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to maintain a low simmer and cook, stirring occasionally, for 30 minutes.
