Ingredients
- 6 tbsp. unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 3 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tbsp. chopped fresh garlic
- Minced zest of 1 lemon
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 Italian baguette, halved lengthwise

Preheat broiler to high with rack 6 inches from element.

Pulse butter, oil, parsley, garlic and zest in a mini food processor until combined; season with salt and pepper.

Spread butter mixture on cut sides of baguette; arrange on a baking sheet, cut sides up.

Broil baguette halves until lightly toasted and edges are golden, about 3 minutes; cut into slices.
