Baked Red Snapper a la Creole

Ingredients

  • 1 (4 lb.) red snapper, split and boned
  • 2 cups canned tomatoes
  • 6 onions, minced
  • 1`/2 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. bottled hot sauce

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

  2. Rinse fish and pat dry.

  3. Combine remaining ingredients. Mix lightly. Stuff fish with 2 cupful of the mixture. Place in a shallow greased baking dish and spoon the remaining stuffing over fish. Bake 1 hour.
