Deli-Style Submarines

Ingredients

  • 2 8-oz. loaves French bread
  • 3/4 8-oz. carton sour cream ranch dip (12 Tbsp.)
  • 1 cup torn lettuce
  • 3/4 cup shredded carrot
  • 8 oz. thinly sliced cooked roast beef, ham, or turkey
  • 1 1/4 cup thinly sliced cucumber
  • Black pepper
  • 4 oz. thinly sliced Colby Jack cheese

Directions

  1. Cut bread in half horizontally. Spread cut sides of bread with dip. Layer bottom half of bread with lettuce, carrot, roast beef, cucumber, black pepper to taste, and cheese; replace top half of bread. Cut into eight portions.
