Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 cup toasted chopped macadamia nuts
- 1 10 oz. jar lemon curd
Directions

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Line a 9-inch square baking pan with foil, extending foil over edges of pan. Grease foil.

Ina bowl stir together flour, baking powder, and salt. In a large bowl beat butter with mixer on medium to high 30 seconds. Add sugars. Beat 5 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. Gradually add flour mixture, beating on low until combined. Stir in 1/3 cup of the macadamia nuts.

Spread one-third of the batter in prepared baking pan. At 1-inch intervals, drop large spoonfuls of lemon curd onto batter. Top with remaining batter. Gently swirl a knife through batter and lemon curd layers to marble. Sprinkle with remaining macadamia nuts.

Bake 30 minutes or until golden and set. Cool in pan on wire rack. Using edges of foil, lift cookies out of pan. Cut into bars.
