Baked Stuffed Turnips

Ingredients
- 4 medium turnips
- 4 medium tomatoes
- 2 Tbsp. uncooked rice
- 2 cups water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. butter
Directions

Chop the tomatoes, put pieces into a pot and add the rice, 2 cups water, salt, pepper and butter. Cook until the rice is soft.

Scoop out centers of the turnips, leaving a shell 1/2-inch thick. Chop centers and add in tomato mixture. Fill turnips’ centers with the stuffing. Sprinkle with bread crumbs, and place turnips in greased baking dish.

Add 1/2 cup water. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
