Baked Tomatoes with Cream Gravy

Ingredients

  • 6 medium tomatoes
  • 1 green pepper, minced
  • 1 medium onion, minced
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 12 drops Sweeta
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 cup light cream

Directions

  1. Cut tomatoes in halves; place in shallow baking pan.

  2. Cook green pepper and onion in butter until onion is tender. Add Sweeta and salt; pour over tomatoes.

  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Remove tomatoes to serving platter.

  4. Add flour to mixture left in pan; blend. Add cream; cook until thick, stirring constantly; pour over tomatoes.
