Ingredients
- 4 Tbsp. shortening
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/2 cup finely chopped celery
- 1 small can tomato sauce
- 1 cup water
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 stick butter
- Snapper
Directions

Melt shortening in heavy pan; stir in flour. Add onion and celery; cook slowly about 10 minutes. Add tomato sauce, water, vinegar and sugar. Melt butter; pour over snapper in a shallow pan/ Pour over red sauce. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
