Ingredients
- 4 loin or shoulder pork chops
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. chicken season stock base
- 1 1/2 cups hot water
- 1/4 tsp. orange peel
- 1/4 tsp. thyme
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp allspice
- 1/8 tsp. black pepper
- 1 Tbsp. minced onions
Directions

Brown pork chops in a heavy frying pan. Season with salt.

Arrange pork chops in a casserole or baking dish. Dissolve in hot water. Add orange peel.

Crush thyme and add to stock with cinnamon, allspice, pepper and onions. Pour over chops. Cover and bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Skim off excess fat. Serve hot from casserole using sauce as gravy.
