Banana Butter
(from Lucianolinda’s recipe box)
use as a spread for toast, biscuits or English muffins.
Keeps well in refrigerator for several weeks.

Ingredients
- 4 large bananas
- 2 Tbsp. juice
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. ground cloves
Directions

Peel bananas; cup up chunks and toss with lemon juice until well coated. Mash in blender or mixer until smooth.

Put in saucepan with remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat; simmer gently for 15 minutes, stirring constantly. Cool.
