Ingredients
- 2 extra ripe, medium bananas
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. soda
- 3/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1 Tbsp. grated orange peel
- 1 cup raisins
Directions

Puree bananas in blender. Pulverize walnuts in blender; combine with flour, baking powder, soda, nutmeg, and salt. Cream butter with sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in thirds alternately with pureed bananas. Stir in raisins. Pour into greased 9 × 5 inch raisins. Pour into greased 9 × 5 inch loaf pan.

Bake in 325 degree oven 1 hour and 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Turn onto wire rack to cool.
