Ingredients
- 1 large head garlic
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/8 tsp kosher salt
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- 1/8 tsp crushed red pepper

Preheat oven to 425.

Cut 1/2 inch off top of garlic, keeping cloves intact. Place garlic cut side up on a sheet of foil. Drizzle with oil, and wrap in foil.

Bake until soft and golden brown, 40-45 minutes. Let cool completely.

Squeeze pulp into a medium bowl, and mash with a fork. Add all remaining ingredients; stir well. Cover and refrigerate up to 1 week.
