Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup brown sugar OR Splenda brown sugar blend
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 cup margarine, cut into small pieces
- 1egg
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 mashed ripe banana
- 1 tsp. banana extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips, optional
Directions

heat oven to 400 degrees.

In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and baking soda. using a pastry blender or your fingers cut the margarine into the flour mixture.

Stir in the egg, milk, banana, banana extract and chocolate chips (if using). Drop dough by large spoonfuls on a lightly greased baking sheet.

Bake 13 minutes or until light golden brown.
