Ingredients
- 6 oz. chopped bacon
- 1 small red onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1/3 cup cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 tbsp. bourbon
- 2 tbsp. water
- Black pepper
Directions

Saute bacon in a large skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until crisp, 15 minutes. Add onion and garlic; saute until tender, 5 minutes. Add vinegar, brown sugar, bourbon and water; simmer until the liquid is almost evaporated, about 15 minutes. Season with pepper.
