Ingredients
- 3 lb. beef roast
- 3 Tbsp. cooking oil
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 onion, sliced
- Sauce:
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup cooking oil
- 1 can tomatoes
- Red and black pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 Tbsp. mustard
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 bottle tomato ketchup
- 1 can tomato sauce
Directions

Brown roast on both sides in oil. Salt and pepper meat. Add 2 cups water, garlic and onion. Cook at 300 degrees until roast is tender. Cool.

Sauce:

Saute bell pepper and onion in oil. Add tomatoes and all other ingredients. Cook slowly for 1 hour.

Slice and chop beef in bite-sized pieces. Add roast to sauce. Add most of the broth the roast was cooked in. Serve on toasted buns.
