Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. onion, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. shortening
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- pepper to taste
- 1 3 to 4 lbs. red snapper
Directions

Lightly brown onion in shortening. Add other ingredients except snapper; mix well. Place whole fish on a shallow pan. Pour sauce over fish. Bake at 425 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes, basting occasionally.
