Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp. mince garlic
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup ketchup
- 3 Tbsp. mustard or to taste
- 1 tsp. hot sauce or more to taste
- 1/3 cup Dr. Pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- Salt and ground black pepper
Directions

Het oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and cook until soft and translucent, about 8 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat and simmer gently, stirring occasionally, for 45 minutes. Serve immediately or cool and store in a covered jar in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
