Barbecues Apples and Currants

Ingredients
- 2 cans (20 oz. each) pie spliced apples, drained
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 Tbsp. cider vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup chili sauce
- 1/4 cup packed light- brown sugar
- 1/2 cup currants
Directions

Put apples in buttered shallow 2-quart baking dish Melt butter in saucepan. Add onion and mustard and saute, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes.

Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour over apples and bake, uncovered, in preheated 325 degree oven 50 to 60 minutes.

Serve as a side dish with burger, hot dogs, pork chops or broiled poultry.
