CHEESE FRENCHEE

Similar to a grilled cheese. May have more flavor if you a piece of meat (Ham, Salami,)

Serves 6 people

Ingredients

  • 6 slices of Bread
  • 6 slices of cheddar cheese
  • mayonnaise
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups cornflakes
  • oil for fry

Directions

  1. Spread mayonnaise on 6 slices of bread

  2. Add 2 slices of cheese

  3. Cut the sandwiches into quarters (triangles)

  4. Mix the Milk, flour, and egg, salt in a bowl

  5. Crush cornflakes with a rolling pin or hand.

  6. Dip the sandwich pieces in the egg batter and coat with cornflakes crumbs

  7. Fry in hot oil 375 degrees. They brown quick. flip after a few seconds
