Barbecued Breast of Lamb

Ingredients
- 2 lb. breast of lamb
- 1 cup red wine
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1/4 tsp. thyme
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Directions

Wipe lamb with a damp paper towel. Place lamb in a shallow baking dish. Set aside.

Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl. Mix well. Pour evenly over lamb. Cover and let marinate in refrigerator overnight, turning several times.

Drain lamb, reserve marinade. Place on greased grill, 6 inches from hot coals. Barbecue 30- to 40 minutes, basting with marinade and turning frequently until done.
