Barbecued Flank Steak

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp honey
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 green onion, chopped, or 2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/2 to 1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp. powdered ginger
  • 1/4 cup salad oil
  • Flank steaks

Directions

  1. Mix first 7 ingredients in large bowl; add steaks. Marinate at room temperature for 3 to 6 hours.

  2. Broil over hot coals until medium-rare or rare; slice diagonally, cutting in 1/2 to 3/4 inch strips.

  3. Marinade will keep indefinitely in refrigerator if green onion is removed.
