Barbecued Frankfurters with Sauerkraut

Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce
- 8 frankfurters
- 1 no. 2 can sauerkraut
Directions

Melt butter in skillet; add onion and green pepper and cook until onion is tender but not brown. Ad tomato sauce, water, sugar , vinegar, bay leaf and Tabasco sauce; bring to boiling. Add frankfurters ; cover and simmer 5 minutes. Arrange heated sauerkraut in serving dish; add frankfurters and barbecue sauce.
