Asian Slaw with Steak

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup rice vinegar
  • 3 tbsp. minced fresh mint
  • 3 tbsp. sesame oil
  • 1/3 cup miso paste
  • 1 lb. beef top sirloin steak
  • 12 oz. pkg. broccoli coleslaw mix
  • 1 medium mango, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup frozen shelled edamame, thawed
  • 1/4 cup sliced radishes
  • 1/4 cup minced fresh cilantro
  • 1 green onion, sliced
  • Grated lime peel

Directions

  1. For dressing, place first 4 ingredients in a blender; cover and process until blended. Reserve 1/2 cup of the dressing for slaw. Brush remaining dressing onto both sides of steak; let stand while preparing slaw.

  2. Place the coleslaw mix, mango, edamame, radishes, cilantro and green onion in a large bowl. Toss with reserved dressing.

  3. Grill steak, covered, over medium heat until is reaches desired doneness, 5-7 minutes per side. Let stand 5 minutes before slices. Serve with slaw. Sprinkle with lime peel.
