Barbecued Lamb

Ingredients

  • 6 lb. leg of lamb
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • Flour
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup catsup
  • 2 Tbsp. A-1 sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. cayenne

Directions

  1. Wipe leg of lamb with damp cloth, rub with salt and dredge with flour. Place in roasting pan and surround with onion.

  2. Combine remaining ingredients, mix well and pour over meat. Roast in 350 degree oven 30 minutes for each pound. Baste every 20 minutes with the sauce.
