Categories: Slow Cooker
Ingredients
- 1 pound of boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce (enough sauce to completely cover the chicken in the slow cooker…about 3 cups or so)
- 1 (1 oz) packet of dry Ranch dressing mix (the powdery kind in the packet)
- Ranch salad dressing to garnish (the liquid kind in the bottle)
- Chopped green onions to garnish
- chopped, crispy bacon pieces to garnish (I crisped up four slices of bacon)
- 4 burger buns
Directions
-
In your slow cooker, place your chicken, BBQ sauce and packet of dry Ranch dressing mix. Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours or on high 3 to 4 hours.
-
When you’re ready to serve, remove lid and shred up your chicken right inside of your slow cooker using two forks. Assemble your sandwiches: bun, shredded BBQ chicken, a little bit of Ranch dressing, chopped green onions and a sprinkle of crispy bacon bits.
