Basil Pesto with Walnuts

Ingredients

  • 3 medium garlic cloves
  • 1 1/4 cups packed fresh basil leaves
  • 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, toasted
  • 1/4 tsp. kosher salt
  • Coarse ground black pepper

Directions

  1. Place garlic in a food processor; pulse to finely chop. Add remaining ingredients, pulse until smooth. Serve with crostini.
