Ingredients
- 1 box of chocolate cake mix
- For Syrup:
- 3 tablespoons rum
- 6 tablespoons water
- For Filling:
- 250 ml heavy cream
- 20 grams icing sugar
- 110 grams condensed milk
- 1 egg yolk
- 50 grams prepared instant coffee
- 50 grams dark chocolate, melted
Directions

Make a chocolate cake from a box.

Prepare the syrup by mixing the water and rum together. Place sponge cake base on a parchment paper lined baking sheet.

Wet sponge with rum and water mixture.

Allow to sit in fridge for 10 or 15 minutes.

Put icing sugar and whipping cream in a bowl.

Whisk it until the mixture reaches soft peaks.

Add condensed milk and egg yolk.

Mix until well combined.

Add coffee.

Mix well again.

Bring 1" of water to a simmer in a pot.

Set a heatproof bowl in the mouth of the pot.

Add chocolate.

Stir until well melted.

While still warm at to filling mixture.

Blend only once until you get a nice mixture.

Pour filling over sponge.

Allow to chill in fridge for at least 6 hours.
