Ingredients
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup wine vinegar
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1 clove garlic, split
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup catsup
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1 tsp. celery salt
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
Directions

Mix lemon juice, vinegar, onion and garlic in small bowl. Set aside while preparing other ingredients.

In 4-cup glass measure boil sugar, syrup and water on high 8 to 10 minutes, or until a soft ball forms when dropped in cold water. Cool syrup. Strain lemon-vinegar mixture and add to syrup. Discard garlic and onion.

Add all ingredients and beat with an egg beater or electric mixer until blended and thick. Refrigerate.

Besides serving on green salad, use as a sauce for your favorite combination of raw or blanched vegetables.
