Cold Mocha Punch

easy to double. You can sub in place of vanilla ice cream: salted caramel, chocolate mint, coffee flavor or another chocolate ice cream.

Ingredients

  • 1 gal. whole or 2% milk
  • 1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream (or salted caramel)
  • 1/2 gal. chocolate ice cream
  • 1- 2 oz jar instant coffee (regular or decaf)
  • 2 C sugar
  • 1 C water

Directions

  1. In a saucepan, mix the instant coffee, sugar and water and heat until all is dissolved. You could do this in a microwaveable bowl -heat water then stir in the sugar and coffee.

  2. Refrigerate this mixture. It will be thick/syrupy.

  3. To prepare: pour the chilled syrup into a large punch bowl. Add the entire gallon of mild.

  4. Add all the ice cream by scoops into the punch and stir.

  5. The ice cream doesn’t have to melt all the way…it serves as the ice and will slowly melt throughout the party.
