Ingredients
- 8 chicken thighs
- salt, to taste
- for the lemon-turmeric glaze/sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
Directions
- Pre-heat the oven to 200Âșc.
- Brown the chicken thighs in an oven-proof pan on both sides, seasoning generously with salt.
- Combine the honey, lemon juice, pepper, turmeric and curry powder and mix well.
- Pour the turmeric mix over the chicken and place in the oven.
- Allow to cook for 30 minutes, basting with the glaze every 10 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the glaze has thickened.
- Remove from the oven and serve.
