Ingredients
- Fish
- Milk
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 Tbsp. melted shortening
- 1 egg
Directions

Soak pieces of fish in milk for 30 minutes.

Combine flour, salt, baking powder, shortening, egg and 3/4 cup milk to make batter.

Remove fish from milk; dip in batter. Fry in hot fat until brown and well done.
