Bavarian Lamb Stew with Dumplings

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 lbs. boneless stew lamb, cubed
- 2 Tbsp. salad oil
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp. thyme
- 1/2 tsp. marjoram
- 1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen baby lima beans
- 6 carrots, sliced
- 6 small whole onions
- Dumplings:
- 1 cup biscuit mix
- 1/3 cup milk
Directions

Combine flour, salt, paprika and pepper. Mix well. Coat meat with flour mixture.

Heat oil in skillet. Add meat; cook until browned on all sides. Add water, tomato sauce, garlic, thyme nd marjoram. Mix well.

Simmer covered for 20 minutes. Top with dumplings.

Combine mix and milk in a bowl Mix well. Drop by teaspoonful onto vegetables and meat. Cover. Cook 5 minutes. Uncover, cook 10 minutes.
