Mac N’ Cheese & Pulled Pork Nachos

Ingredients

  • 1 bag TJ’s Organic White Corn Tortilla Chips
  • 1 package TJ’s Diner Mac n’ Cheese
  • 1 package TJ’s Pulled Pork in Smokey BBQ Sauce
  • 1/2 Tbsp. TJ’s Unsalted Butter
  • 1 Tbsp. TJ’s Extra Virgin Olive Oil (any variety will do)
  • 1 cup TJ’s Diced Yellow Onions or 1 medium TJ’s Yellow Onion, diced
  • TJ’s Green Dragon Sauce to taste

Directions

  1. Combine butter and oil in a frying pan and over medium heat. Once butter is melted, add diced onions and heat for approximately 10 minutes or until onions are golden brown, stirring occasionally. While onions are caramelizing, prepare pulled pork in microwave according to package instructions, then prepare mac n’ cheese in microwave according to package instructions. Arrange about 3/4 bag of chips onto a large platter. Spoon the mac n’ cheese onto chips, then pile the pulled pork atop the mac n’ cheese. Top with your caramelized onions and as much or as little Green Dragon Sauce as your heart desires! Feel free to add the remainin1/4 bag of chips to the pile as nachos are consumed.

  2. Option: Preheat oven to 450 degrees while prepping onions. Follow directions as described above. Prior to adding Green Dragon Sauce, bake nachos in the oven* for 5 -7 minutes for extra crispiness and melty-ness. Remove from oven and top with Green Dragon Sauce. (*If selecting this option, be sure to arrange chips on or in an oven-safe dish!)
