Bechamel Sauce with Parmesan Cheese

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. In small saucepan over medium heat melt butter; stir in flour and salt until smooth. Gradually stir in milk. Cook and stir 6 to 8 minutes or until thickened. Add cheese and stir 2 minutes or until cheese melts.
