Ingredients
- 1 lb. whole mushrooms
- 1 lb. ground pork sausage
- 8 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1 cup white wine or chicken broth
- 1/2 garlic clove, minced and mashed
- 1/8 tsp dried oregano

Remove and chop mushroom stems; mix stems into sausage. Stuff mushroom caps with mixture, rounding into high crowns or “hats.” Arrange in an ungreased 13×9-inch baking pan. Bake, uncovered, at 350 for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, mix remaining ingredients in a saucepan; simmer over medium-low heat. When mushrooms are done baking, add them to sauce. Cover and simmer over low heat for 15 minutes.
