Must-Have Burgers

Ingredients

  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire
  • 1 tsp Montreal steak seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1 1/3 lbs. ground beef
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 brioche or hamburger buns, split and toasted
  • Optional toppings: lettuce leaves, sliced tomatoes and onion slices

Directions

  1. Grab a big bowl. Combine chopped green onions, Worcestershire and seasonings. Add the ground beef; hand-mix lightly but thoroughly.

  2. For uniform burgers, make a disc with the beef mixture and cut it into quarters. Pat each portion into a 3/4-inch thick patty.

  3. Clean off your grill grate. Then grill the patties, covered, over medium heat, about 6 minutes per side.

  4. When the burgers are almost cooked to your liking, top with cheese; grill, covered, up to a minute more or until the cheese melts. Pop on buns and serve with your favorite fixings.
