Strawberry Shortcake

basically biscuit dough—can be used for that too

Serves 4 people

Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
- 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/8 - 1/4 cup butter
- 3/4 cup milk
- strawberries, cut up
- milk, to taste
Directions

eheat oven to 450.

Sift flour before measuring.

Resift with all dry ingredients.

Cut in butter.

Add milk and stir.

Knead dough on floured board for 1/2 minute.

Bake for 10-20 minutes.

Break off chunks of dough, add strawberries and milk.
