Ingredients
- RUB ALL TOGETHER:
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- heaping cup flour (about 1 1/4 cups)
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- pinch of salt
- butter the size of an egg (about 1/4 cup)
- ADD:
- 3/4 cups milk
- 1 cup raisins
- BOIL:
- 3 cups water
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- butter the size of an egg
Directions

Pour the boiled liquid mixture into an 8 or 9 inch square cake pan.

Drop the first mixture by spoonfuls into the liquid.

Bake at 350F until golden brown (about 45 minutes).
